A professional check-up-and-clean will give you a ‘clean slate’ to start from, for the most effective results. If you opt for the take home teeth whitening kit, during this appointment we’ll also take impressions to craft your custom trays, and provide instructions for their final use.

Come in, zone out

Dr Daley will whiten your teeth in chair, which can take up to two (peaceful) hours. Alternatively, if you’re whitening teeth at home - we’ll call you when your custom trays are ready and give you the choice of collection at reception, or via post.

Is this teeth whitening treatment safe?

Yes, if used by or under the guidance of dentists. You can read more about the Zoom treatment we use for teeth whitening here.
What are the risks or side effects?

You might experience some gum or tooth sensitivity during (which Dr Daley will mitigate) or after treatment. Store-bought teeth-whitening kits increase risk of injury given people might swallow the bleaching gel during application, and irritate their gums or stomach. It is always best to perform teeth whitening under dental guidance.
How white will my teeth get?

Dentist in Cronulla use medical-grade bleaching gel through the Zoom system, which advises patients can reach up to eight shades whiter. We always recommend the most natural and complimentary shade.
How long does teeth whitening last?

Ensure the dental clinic (not a pop-up shopping centre ‘booth’) has a long history of teeth whitening, ask what products they use, ask to see some before and after photos, and also ensure they’re using professional-grade whitening gel. You don’t want to be paying dental costs for application of store-bought product.
